Evening Primrose Oil to The Rescue!

When it comes to caring for our skin, we should always look for quality ingredients in our products.   No matter how bad the economy is,  women and men are still willing to use products to combat signs of aging. With laser technology and injections, while they may yield results, the problem with these procedures is that they can be subject to human error and offer only temporary benefits.  In addition, they are very expensive.   One of the best ways to prevent skin aging is by using the right kinds of products. There are millions of products that promise to achieve results but the use of “true” natural skin care products that contain essential fatty acids  can provide anti aging benefits and radiant skin.  Previously we discussed sea buckthorn oil and others containing these omega fatty acids but today we will discuss another of our specialists favorites:  evening primrose oil.

Evening primrose oil has many benefits. It contains several fatty acids and these are palmitic fatty acids, oleic fatty acids, linoleic fatty acids, gamma linoleic fatty acids, alpha linoleic fatty acids, icosanoic fatty acids and acosenoic fatty acids. These components contribute to a variety of skin benefits such as:

  • Improves skin texture, offering smooth more supple skin.
  • Fine lines and wrinkles become less noticeable.
  • Rough skin becomes hydrated.
  • Prevents skin inflammation which can cause discoloration and acne.
  • Your skin is rejuvenated.
  • Promotes elasticity offering a more firm appearance.
  • Assists in the production of new skin cells.
  • Skin is repaired at a cellular level.
  • Lightens dark circles under the eyes.

One of our favorite benefits of evening primrose oil is inflammation reduction.  Most people don’t realize that inflammation accelerates aging, and often causes age spots, scarring and discoloration.  Sevani skin formulations utilize evening primrose throughout their skin care line to offer the best results possible.

Preventing aging and improving your skin need not cost you thousands of dollars or risky procedures.  With the proper blend of other antioxidants and alpha hydroxy acids, evening primrose oils benefits are increased. Who doesn’t want a product that targets wrinkles, skin discoloration, dry rough skin, and sagging?

Of course, natural and organic products free of harmful toxins are always recommended.  Feel free to learn more about organic anti-aging products created by true skin specialists by clicking here.
