Last weekend we had the pleasure of attending the Natural Products Expo East.\u00a0 It was a fantastic event this year with great workshops, food, health, wellness and beauty manufacturers.\u00a0 We got to see a lot of different friends from the past and, check out lots, and lots of new natural brands entering the market place.<\/p>\n

As manufacturers of natural products ourselves, it’s so exciting to see more and more green product suppliers.\u00a0 It wasn’t long ago that you could only find green products in small niche stores.\u00a0 Now, they’re infiltrating all walks of life and the “mainstream” seems to be embracing them as normal; as opposed to the “Hippy Products” they used to be. Hooray!<\/p>\n

Given the \"sevani<\/a>toxic ingredients so many conventional products are made of it’s so important we stand up for change.\u00a0 From GMO’s to pesticides,\u00a0 preservatives, artificial fragrances, dyes, and icky man-made chemicals<\/strong>, our bodies and our planet are exposed to a cocktail of unnatural, harmful toxins daily.\u00a0\u00a0 One of the main ways these nasties enter our bodies is through our skin and, from there, they head directly into our bloodstream to reek havoc.<\/p>\n

This is unacceptable and, it’s time we all make the switch to an earth friendly lifestyle as a whole.\u00a0 Many of these synthetic chemicals we don’t even need, as they should be, and easily could be, made of natural ingredients and through green processes.\u00a0 If we keep along with what we’ve been doing, we’re going to kill our planet and, eventually, ourselves.<\/p>\n

It’s this reality that made seeing all of the Vegan, as well as Gluten free, non GMO, and naturally preserved items at the show so exciting!<\/strong>\u00a0 All of these are important lifestyle choices that can help affect your overall health, skin and even the planet in positive (or negative) ways. Seeing natural and eco friendly products\u00a0 like these on the rise is a wonderful thing!<\/p>\n

That said, it’s also important to remember we have a loooong way to go.\u00a0 We have to always be on the lookout where we can do better, use less packaging, lower our carbon footprint, or improve ingredients for example.<\/p>\n

Attending again was a fantastic as it shows us the impact we can make!\u00a0 It was also great to connect with other like-minded Eco-brand owners.<\/p>\n
