it really is. You think popping and picking is going to make it better. Instead, the end result is a whole host of problems.

To keep you informed and help curb your next itch to pick here are just 4 reason to ALWAYS leave your blemishes alone.

You’ll Spread the Bacteria to Healthy Pores

When you pick your acne blemishes you spread the bacteria from that blemish onto other pores around that blemish. If you head from popping one to picking another you will further spread this bacteria around your face. This increases the potential for other blemishes to form; not a good thing.

You’ll Extend the Life of the Blemish

Just as with any other sore on the skin, picking pimples will extend the life of the blemish; not help get rid of it. Leave them alone and they’ll heal more quickly and more completely.

You’ll Increase the Potential for Acne Scars

Another reason to leave your acne blemishes alone is that picking them repeatedly can end up causing inflammation which leads to scaring. So, instead of getting rid of your acne you cause the blemish to be there permanently.

You’ll Add More Dirt to Your Face – and MORE Acne

Every time you touch your face, including when you pick your blemishes, the dirt and oils on your hands are left on your skin. This helps cause more acne by introducing additional dirt and bacteria to your face to help continue the cycle of infection; not what you’re hoping for.

If you have a white head or pustule (not a cyst) that you’ve just got to deal with, instead of picking here’s what you should do –

soak your pimple with a lukewarm towel

wrap your fingers in tissue or grab two Q-tips

dip in a natural salicylic acid based product

place finger or Q-tips on either side of pimple

apply super gentle pressure

if it doesn’t pop, leave it alone, and give a try later

The best treatment for acne blemishes though is to just leave them alone and let them run their course. Yes, they suck, but they’ll be gone so much more quickly and easily if you just don’t pick! Of course, to avoid acne all together, use powerfully pure and naturally effective skin care products like Sevani Botanica’s Ageless Radiance Cleanser, Advanced Complexion Corrector, Rapid Renewal Resurfacing Creme, and others recommended specifically to support and treat oily, acne prone skin successfully and withOUT harsh chemicals or toxins.

Don’t let acne get you down and leave it’s mark on you. Leave your blemishes alone and you’ll be surprised how much more easily they heal, and, how much less acne you have on your beautiful skin overall.

Acne is a skin condition that can really leave its mark, especially when you pick your blemishes. It’s hard not to;
