Words like “natural”, “green” and “eco friendly” have different meanings to different people.\u00a0 Consumers look to these descriptions for the security that the products are made free of artificial chemicals and will be g\"soap<\/a>ood for them and the earth.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, many corporations see these as big money making advertising words.\u00a0 Since there are no regulations regarding what “natural” means when it comes to beauty products, all different kinds of things can be used to make personal care and beauty products yet their label may still say natural.<\/p>\n

One of the many funky ingredients you want to be sure to look for, and avoid<\/span> if you see it, is sulfates.\u00a0 Sulfates can be found on many product labels under names like:<\/p>\n

Sulfates, mostly responsible for creating that thick, sudsy lather,\u00a0 are known to be very irritating to your skin; particularly if you have sensitive skin.\u00a0 Not only that though, when Sulfates are created, they also make 1,4 Dioxane.<\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n

1,4 Dioxane is a known carcinogen and is toxic to both you and the planet.\u00a0 When you use beauty products with sulfates, and thereby 1,4 Dioxane, you expose the largest organ on your body\u00a0 to these harsh, toxic chemicals.\u00a0 They’re absorbed from there into your blood stream and are then dispersed throughout your entire<\/em> body.<\/p>\n

Then, after you use the chemical containing products, you wash what’s left of them off.\u00a0 But these chemicals don’t go away, they get washed down the drain.\u00a0 While you don’t see them anymore, they’re off\u00a0 and on their way to the water supply; the blood stream of the planet.\u00a0 The toxins are then ingested by anything that drinks or uses the water in any way; including you!<\/p>\n
