Sevani does not use the following ingredients in our formulas in an effort to protect our health, planet, and overall well-being:

• Propylene Glycols- toxic chemical, found in antifreeze
• Formaldehyde/Urea’s- possible carcinogen
• Petroleum Distillates- (Ex: Mineral Oil) clogs pores, non-biodegradable and accelerates aging
• Synthetic Wax (emulsifying wax)- clogs pores, accelerates aging
• Diethanolamine & triethanolamine (DEA&TEA)- highly toxic and carcinogenic creates 1,4 Dioxane
• SLS (Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfates)- found in cleansers; irritating and highly allergenic, toxic
• Parabens- possibly cancerous preservatives, linked to breast cancer
• Phthalates- highly toxic and irritating to the skin
• Synthetic Preservatives-(phenoxyethanol now banned in EU) potential carcinogens, formaldehyde donors and lab-created chemicals.
• Synthethic Fragrances- cause skin sensitivity, headaches, irritants and often toxic
• Animal derived or animal tested ingredients-  in-humane, say no more!
