Massage | Its Amazing Benefits for the Skin and How to Enjoy Them Daily

Our skin is our first line of defense and protects us from all kinds of nasties like germs and bacteria as well as environmental damage from sun, pollution, wind, and more.  But, even as the largest organ of your body it can’t do it alone.

Your skin needs you to help it along.  Things like eating right, regular exercise, proper hydration, using all natural skin care products, and, massage.

Yep – Massage!

Reducing tension in the skin and tissues

Increasing nutrition to support cell  regeneration

Cleansing and supporting the removal of waste and toxins from the body

Dilating the surface capillaries to improve skin’s color and tone

Increasing circulation

Re-moisturizing and softening dry skin

Helping your skin foster resistance to infection

Reducing the appearance of scars

And MUCH more!

While full body massages are wonderful, and provide these benefits for the skin all over your entire body, you do need another person to make a full body massage happen.  However, these benefits of massage can be enjoyed easily on your facial skin daily; no extra assistance required.

Each day you cleanse, tone, and moisturize your face and decollete area in the morning and at night; or at least you should be!  When you do this, take the time to actually massage the beauty products into your skin.  Not only will you reap even more benefits from the skin care products you’re applying, but, you’ll also gain all of these benefits of massage as well.

One important tip though.  Be Gentle!

The skin on your face can definitely take a beating and is quite strong, but, pulling and tugging is not recommended as it can encourage sagging and even wrinkles.  Instead, gently massage your beauty products into your skin to avoid any of these negative side effects.

Also, the time you put into this is important.  It’s not as simple as 15 seconds of rubbing your cleanser around your face and you’re good to go.

You actually need to gently massage your cleanser around your face and decollete area for at least a full minute.  Your moisturizer as well.  Then you’ll really see a difference both as a result of the massages you’re giving your skin, as well as the fact that your leaving the actual beauty products on longer and allowing them to fully penetrate your skin for maximum effectiveness.

In addition, you should also consider using serums made with nutrient rich oils like our Serum Vitale.  These special oil based serums are a fantastic way to give your face the natural ingredients it needs in an easy to absorb (and non-greasy) formula along with a beneficial facial massage.

Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity that already exists within your current beauty routine to enjoy all the benefits massage gives you, to pamper your skin, and to make the most of your beauty products.  Your skin will thank you with clearer, more youthful looking skin that exudes a healthy, radiant glow.
